Permanent full-time position Junior Project Manager Software Development (f/m/d)

Standort Hamburg (remote possible), part-time or full-time, permanent

Are you a fan of new technologies and have a good understanding of technical processes? Do you enjoy developing, planning and organising? Then we would like to meet you!

As a junior project manager you will learn all the phases of software development under the guidance of an experienced project manager. You will function as the communications interface between customers and our design and development team. You will accompany new features from the customer request; conception and wireframing; design and development to final implementation based on use cases and customer journeys. As the project manager you will steer our agile design and development team, compiling test cases and sharing responsibility for testing and acceptance of new features at the test centre. When doing so you will be given a high degree of autonomy to quickly learn all the required project management methods and tools and be directly involved in reviewing and optimising them.

What tasks will be assigned to you?

  • Management of prestigious customers and receipt of customer requests
  • Coordination of content and strategy with customers and project development, functioning as the interface for various international teams
  • Concept development, wireframing and management of briefings for designers and developers
  • Steering of agile design and development teams using Jira (scrum, Kanban)
  • Compilation of test cases as well as testing and acceptance of new features 
  • Progress monitoring and status reporting
  • Provision of support to, and learning from, experienced senior project managers in the course of day-to-day operations

What should you bring with you?

  • A completed degree in business administration, computer sciences or business engineering or a comparable qualification would be advantageous
  • Interest in, and enthusiasm for, IT and project work
  • Fluent written and spoken German and English
  • An entrepreneurial, results-oriented mindset
  • An independent way of working and excellent communication skills
  • Theoretical and practical project management knowledge and initial work experience in the form of jobs or internships
  • Pleasure in working in a cross-disciplinary project team
  • High flexibility regarding working hours as the member of an international team
