Senior PHP Backend-Developer (w/m/d)

We are looking for a senior backend PHP developer (m/f/d) for one of our tech teams, either on-site in Hamburg, Germany or remotely within the EU. Our technical department is the beating heart of ProgressMaker and driven by the passion to develop the best infrastructure and applications. You will work on highly scalable products in a cloud-based infrastructure, collaborating with developers who enjoy the challenge of continuously raising the benchmark for “state of the art” technology.

What tasks will be assigned to you?

Backend development in an agile team focusing on product development, customer integration, interfaces and quality assurance
Continuous optimisation and improvement of the existing software using modern methods and architecture
Autonomous, agile implementation of innovative, exciting ideas together with your interdisciplinary international team and in cooperation with the product owner
Integration of customer feedback into development

What should you bring with you?

You have an excellent grasp of PHP and have already successfully implemented several large projects
Quality consciousness, autonomous working and problem-solving are your biggest strengths
You are interested in GitLab, Docker, AWS and similar exciting topics
Continuous professional development – both personal and for the company – plus keeping up to date with technical progress are givens for you
You like sharing your experience and drawing on your know-how to assist less experienced colleagues in a partnership of equals
You are a team player who focuses on a respectful, open exchange of views; listening to all the arguments and a shared commitment to any decisions which are made
You can succinctly formulate any issues or requests in German or English
